January 14 - March 3, 2024

Three back-to-back tournaments will be held at the Abama Tennis Academy on the island of Tenerife. The tennis paradise will host one ATP Challenger 100 tournament from January 14 to 21 and two ATP Challenger 75 tournaments from February 18 to March 3.

June 11 - 18, 2023

In 2023, the Internazionali di Tennis Città di Perugia tournament has been confirmed as an ATP Challenger 125 event. The 8th edition of the clay court tournament took place from 11 to 18 June 2023 at the Perugia Tennis Club and saw the star Fabian Marozsan as the winner. The tournament had a great audience, thanks to the participation of players such as Dominic Thiem (best ranking #3 in 2020), Pedro Cachin, Jaume Munar, Albert Ramos-Vinolas and Fabian Marozsan (#61 ATP). Defined by the commentators of SuperTennis TV as a “luxury Challenger”, is one of the most prestigious sporting events in the Umbria Region and guarantees spectators an ATP 250 show every year.

August 13 - 19, 2023

After having been the tournament of the post-lockdown world restart, the fourteenth edition of the event proved to be an appointment of great tennis. Over the years, players such as Lorenzo Musetti, Carlos Alcaraz, Gaston Hugo, David Goffin, Grigor Dimitrov, Kevin Anderson, Benoit Paire, Marco Cecchinato, Matteo Berrettini, Thomas Muster, Gaston Gaudio and many others have challenged each other on the clay of the Tennis Club Todi 1971: a list that proves the importance of the tournament. The 2023 edition was won by Luciano Darderi, who obtained his first title on the ATP Challenger Tour, in front of a special audience.

September 17 - 23, 2023

Parma Ladies Open

Parma confirms itself as the home of women’s professional tennis with the most important event in the area in terms of prize money and participating players. The third edition of the Parma Ladies Open was held from 17 to 23 September in the gorgeous Parma Tennis Club. Over the years, the tournament has seen the participation of tennis queens such as Serena and Venus Williams, Maria Sakkari, Coco Gauff, Camila Giorgi and Mayar Sherif, champion of the previous edition. The 2023 edition saw the participation of champions such as Anna Karolina Schmiedlova, Sara Errani and Ana Bogdan. The tournament schedule was full of side events such as the Racket Museum, inaugurated during the exclusive Opening Party and awareness-raising activities on topics such as inclusion and sustainability.

October 15 - 22, 2023

Olbia Challenger

Olbia enters the ATP Challenger Tour with a new tournament on the calendar. The first edition of the Olbia Challenger took place from 15 to 22 October, an ATP Challenger 125 tournament which offered 160,000 dollars and 125 ATP points. Great tennis was welcomed with enthusiasm on the Costa Smeralda, proving to be an unforgettable week for tennis players and enthusiasts. The tournament saw the participation of players such as Fabio Fognini, Alexandre Muller, Flavio Cobolli and Constant Lestienne. The participation of a large crowd of spectators, who packed the stands from the qualifying stages to the final, was extraordinary.

October 2 - 9, 2022

Parma Challenger

Staged at the historic Tennis Club Parma, the Parma Challenger has put a second edition of the highest level in the drawer. From 2 to 9 October 2022, the tournament, belonging to the ATP Challenger 125 category, featured players in the ATP Top 100. The defending champion is the young Timofey Skatov.

February 28 - March 6, 2022

The ATP Challenger Tour circuit returns to its paradise. Tennis players from all over the world have returned to the island of Gran Canaria to compete for the title of third champion. To win was the new father Gianluca Mager, beating the top seeded # 1 Roberto Carballes Baena. Special guest was the influencer Stefan Bojic, pioneer of “Freestyle” tennis.

The WTA circuit has found its paradise in Tenerife: from 16 to 24 October 2021 Abama Tennis Academy hosted a WTA 250 tournament. The stars of women’s tennis put on a show in a breathtaking setting, with a central court literally overlooking the ocean. The Tenerife Ladies Open receives the WTA 250 Tournament of the Year honor thanks to the dedication provided to deliver a welcoming experience for the WTA athletes, which has inspired them to compete at their highest level.

May 16-22 | May 22-29, 2021

For the first time in the history of Parma and Montechiarugolo, a combined event took place: ATP Tour and WTA Tour made their landing in the Emilian cities, both with a 25o points tournament. Emilia-Romagna Open: the show was held from May 16 to 22 on the red clay courts of the Tennis Club Parma, the scene of a WTA 250 and, from May 22 to 29, on those of the Tennis Club President of Montechiarugolo, stage of an ATP 250 tournament also on clay, which was placed on the calendar as a prologue to Roland Garros. After two exceptional Challenger editions, the Region crowned Coco Gauff and Sebastian Korda as the first champions of the major circuit in Emilia-Romagna region.

11 - 12 December 2021

The four best Italian teams, male and female, compete for the Italian Championship title. Matches are taking place in a two-day challenge and Cesena (Emilia-Romagna) is the host city in 2021. A one of a kind indoor big show for fans and tennis-addicted.

June 14 - 20, 2021

After the resounding success of the 2020 edition, the Internazionali di Tennis Città di Forlì followed the positive trail with the second edition, staged at Tennis Villa Carpena from 13 to 19 June. The tournament, part of the professional circuit ATP Challenger Tour, with 80 ATP points up for grabs, saw the German Mats Moraing lift the trophy to the sky, after the success of Lorenzo Musetti.
A great event in a great stage that in the past has seen on court legends such as Roger Federer, Ivan Ljubicic and Ivo Karlovic.

Italian tennis is back on the court ith ZzzQUIL Tennis Tour

With the spread of Coronavirus, the world of sport has established a stop and the ATP and WTA institutions have suspended competitions at all levels until 31 July 2020. Given the unpredictability of the spread of the virus and the temporal advantage of Italy , hit in advance compared to the rest of the world, MEF tennis events has created, in collaboration with the Italian Tennis Federation and the top Italian players, a national circuit to return on court as soon as possible, in full compliance with hygiene and health regulations. The circuit starts from Todi, a Covid-free Umbrian town since 27 March, with the “Campionati Italiani Assoluti”, on 21 June. The second tournament, open to foreigners, will be held in Perugia on 29 June.

Facundo Bagnis and Andrea Collarini have signed the trophy of the first two editions, confirming Argentina as the best fighter on the L’Aquila territory. In 2020, the Abruzzo capital returns to host a tournament of the ATP Challenger circuit, coinciding with the most awaited week of the year, that of Celestinian Forgiveness. Great tennis, events and concerts make this week an unmissable appointment for the Abruzzo region.

After 25 year of absence, international tennis tournaments are back in Abruzzo. From 20th to 26th of April, Francavilla al Mare will host the fourth edition of the ATP Challenger 80 called “Internazionali di Tennis d’Abruzzo”. The tournament – with a prizemoney of $ 54.160 – is also known as the “Adriatic Foro Italico”, and has become the most important tennis events of the Adriatic coast, from Rimini to Lecce.

Classifiable as a “Junior Davis Cup”, the Valerio/Galea Cup is the most important Under 18 competition in Europe. Inaugurated in 1970, the Valerio/Galea Cup was the stage of young famous tennis players, such as Lendl, Gunthard, Noah, Mansdorf, Tulasne as well as Italian names like Ocleppo, Rinaldini, Cancellotti and Camporese. Each year the tournament site alternates between France and Italy and in 2018 MEF tennis events was given the responsibility to organise the Italian stage.

10 – 11 February 2018

2018 symbolized the beginning of our  partnership with the Italian Tennis Federation. MEF tennis events became FIT technical partner for the Fed Cup match between Italy and Spain. The Palatricalle Arena was the stage of an epic win of the Italian team, who earned the access to play-off for the World Group I.
