Three back-to-back tournaments took place at the Abama Tennis Academy on the island of Tenerife. The new tennis paradise has welcomed players such as Benoit Paire, Francesco Passaro, Sebastian Ofner onto the ocean-view courts. Richard Glover, vice-president of the ATP Challenger Tour, came visiting Abama realizing the value of the tournaments. The winners were Alexander Schevchenko (#154), Matteo Arnaldi (#115) and Matteo Gigante (#196).
MEF Tennis Events lands in Tenerife in 2021, staging the first edition of the tournament with the Spanish stars Fernando Verdasco and Feliciano López. The winner of the first edition was the young Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, who made history by achieving a record 7 Challenger titles in a single season.
